our Brother/Uncle/Father & Son-Carlos Diaz
who has been missing and his immediate family,
as well as our
father who passed away July, 1999
He was the type of person
that loved being outdoors with his family, friends and his dog Susie,
but most important of all his daughter Lesa.
If he had places to go he always took his bike. That bike went everywhere with him.
Laughter & Fun was his Mato...
He's the type of person that would bring a smile to your face if he saw you were feeling down. He's a fun & loving person to be with.
But on,
On December 23, 1986 the family dog died. My brother Carlos said that he would be right back and went to bury the dog,in the bronx between 161-165th street. After he left we realized that he did not take any of his identifications with him.
It was getting late and my other brother Nelson went to search for him and all he found was the dog still not buried and Carlos wasn't there.
My mother & sister went to the Police Station to file a missing persons report. They handed a photo of him to a detective and his response was that our brother wasn't eligible for a missing persons report. They were told that for a person to be eligible they have to be between the ages of very young to 16 and 50 -60 yrs.of age. So, anyone between those ages they would presume to have taken off. They kept his photo. Calls were made thereafter, months went by and the responses were. "We do not have anything new." He would of never left his daughter & loving family.
